Travertine — Layers of Time
Warm · Layered · Timeless

Travertine is read through layers, directional movement and gentle tonal transitions. A travertine-look surface interprets those qualities; it should not be confused with natural travertine. The material language is shared, while the materials and their technical properties remain distinct.
Warmth beyond beige
Warmth can come from tonal range, soft transitions, light and neighbouring materials. It is not limited to a single beige colour. A restrained palette can still have depth and variation.
Direction and rhythm
Consider how the direction of the pattern relates to the proportions of the space. Tile orientation, joints and changes of plane influence the rhythm of the composition. Visual depth is not necessarily physical relief.
Specify the actual product
Examine more than one sample face and review the proposed layout at the scale of the project. Confirm the exact format, finish and technical values from the product information, rather than inferring performance from the travertine reference.
